Hello, my name is Olivia Obiora and I am a 3D artist. I am a recent graduate of the MFA program at the Academy of Art University with a focus in 3D Modeling. I am primarily a character artist who uses a combination of organic and hard surface modeling techniques to create fully realized characters and animation ready models, including hair, clothing, props, and environments. Growing up, video games and movies have always been a way of bonding with my family, some of my favorite memories were going to the local video store weekly to rent games and movies and later going to the theater on the weekends. When it came time to choose a career path, I felt drawn to the entertainment industry. It felt like a natural cross between two of the things dearest to me. I come from a fine arts background, art has always felt like home to me, a sanctuary from the realities of life and it's something I've been doing for as long as I can remember. Not only do I utilize the drawing and anatomy skills I’ve gained towards creating realistic digital models, it along with my appreciation of storytelling I've gained into my adult life influence my approach toward modeling overall.
