Palace Guard
Palace guard character and bathhouse environment I created from an original concept. Game ready assets modeled using Zbrush and Maya. Cloth sim done in Marvelous Designer and Blender. Textured in Painter. Lighting and rendering done in Marmoset with adjustments and post effects added in Photoshop. Bird of Paradise and Alocasia plant textures and models were modified from a plant asset pack I downloaded. All work completed by me unless otherwise stated.

Concepts
Early concepts for character design that I used as a jumping off point for the model. I was going for a Knight or Royal Guard type character. Originally I was envisioning a desert environment hence the dustier colors, but ended up pivoting to something more like a high altitude forest/jungle environment (Like the Andes). I also chose to incorporate some elements of African culture and design into the character as well.
